Growing up in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, James spent much of his childhood in and around the water.  It was not until later in life that time allowed for, and physical limitations required, the adopting of underwater photography as a recreational outlet.

  Amazed by the vast and varied life to be found beneath the waves, and desiring that others might enjoy this aspect of the creation, James and his wife Lilian began work on this site in November of 2014.

  What you will find here are photos taken with a low-end camera by a moving man in moving water snapping moving creatures.  It is our hope that  you find some joy as you view these pages.
